Welcome, my name is Roger Hillard, owner, and founder of Your OSHA Trainer. My motto is very simple, “Bringing our workers home safely through education and training.” I started my career in safety many years ago when I got sick and tired of seeing my friends get seriously injured in work-related accidents. To top that off, it became apparent that many of the facilities that I visited weren’t aware of how to effectively perform a JHA, (Job Hazard Analysis) or even how to identify hazards in the workplace.
I knew then that something had to be done to educate employers as well as employees on hazard recognition. My education in safety includes Fed and Cal OSHA standards for Construction and General Industry through Cal State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson CA. I am also a certified CPR/AED and First Aid instructor through the American Safety & Health Institute and American Heart Association. Call me today!!

We offer both classroom and online courses to accommodate your training needs. Our training services are offered at one of our training locations or we can come to you for company wide training. We are also a proud supporter of the HeartSafe Neighborhood Foundation. This is a non-profit organization that strives in organizing HeartSafe Neighborhoods.

We go beyond active shooter response training. While other programs focus solely on active shooter or stop the bleed, AVERT goes beyond by combining both of these important topics in one training program.
I am pleased to announce that RAHCO Solutions now offers Active Shooter training. This is put together through the AVERT (Active Violence Emergency Response Training) program. Although we hear devastating news when it comes to school shootings, the fact is that there are much more Active Shooter incidences in businesses then there are in the education world. The media just doesn’t cover these shootings hence they get swept under the mat without the public knowledge. The process is quite simple, and it only takes a few hours of the day to get your employees trained in the event of an Active Shooter experience. This is not just a boring power point and lecture. When we come to your facility, we use interactive videos and stage and actual Active Shooter situation where everyone is taught how to successfully disarm, distract and overcome the perpetrator when necessary. We make this training fun, active and engaging. Our goal is to build confidence, not fear.
